The minimal & the whimsical. If you’ve been following us for a while, that phrase should be engrained in your brain. We say it all the time, but we truly are a mix of all that is eclectic mixed with clean and timeless. You can find it in what we’re inspired by, the way we talk and most of all in our style. This is the year we have curated our style the most, and where we’ve been uninhibited in taking chances. So what a better place than our old stomping grounds of the Pearl Brewery garage to showcase our first outfits of the new year?
You only get to wear them a few times, so I am unafraid to have something punchy when it comes to color. This J.Crew jacket is one of my all-time favorite finds, and I eagerly await the few cold days a year I get to bring out from the back of my closet. Paired with an emerald buffalo check button up, and a printed J.Crew bandana – this was the ultimate guide to print play. Not to mention the J.Crew Factory leopard calf-hair pumps. I’ve learned this year that the best thing you can do with style is be unashamed and uninhibited when it comes to wearing what you want to. You style is something that is completely your own and can be whatever you make of it. So wear three different prints together, or sequins to the grocery store – it’s your prerogative! Make your 2017 New Year’s resolution to wear whatever you want.

Patricio went clean to start the new year. A take on the baseball cap and Henley, but not as simple as that. The Ebbets and Field ‘kitty cat hat’ as we’ve dubbed it adds instant charm to any outfit. This look is simplicity at its best – a pair of chinos accented by a striped tee and a henley is equal parts effortless as it is stylish. And you never know where you’ll find your inspiration – cue Abercrombie. In the last few months, Patricio has branched back into an old favorite that has redone some of their staples in an even better way. Patricio’s new favorite henleys are now from Abercrombie and are the perfect staple to get us through Texas -winter (I.E – we’re not sure if its hot or cold and honestly it could be hot by the end of the day).
So what are your New Year’s style resolutions? Print-mixing? Re-visiting old favorites? Or not making any resolutions and breaking the rules year-round? We’d love to hear your plans for 2017 below!
